2015 was a busy year at Mangi & Graham.

On April 15, Mr. Mangi presented a continuing legal education seminar in Huntington sponsored by the New York State Bar Association on the topic of custody. The audience was composed of practicing attorneys. That same association asked Mr. Mangi to speak again at a seminar on October 30, 2015. Trial preparation was the topic. The audience was composed of practicing attorneys. Both seminars were well received.

James Graham and Robert Mangi both presented a continuing legal education program on November 4, 2015 sponsored by the Nassau County Family Court Law and Procedure Committee. The topic of that program was child and spousal support. The attendees were composed of family court practitioners.

Early in 2015, the American Institute of Family Law named Mr. Mangi one of the 10 best attorneys in New York State in the field of client satisfaction. This award follows one by Rue Ratings, which named Mr. Mangi as one of the best attorneys in America in the area of divorce and family law. Martindale-Hubbel, one of the oldest and most respected attorney rating organizations, has granted Mr. Mangi an AV rating (the highest possible) and lists Mangi& Graham in its registry of pre-eminent law firms.

In 2015, Mr. Mangi was again named as a Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers Magazine and New York Magazine listed Robert among its “legal leaders” in the New York Metropolitan area. AVVO, one of the premier online rating services, has awarded Mr. Mangi its highest (10) rating. More recently, both Robert and James presented a program on legal and ethical issues, which derive from the use of social media. This presentation was made to the prominent attorneys and judges who belong to the New York American Family Law Inn of Court in Mineola. Other seminars and programs are already scheduled for 2016.

On February 25, 2016, Mr. Mangi presented a program on “How to Present a Custody Case in Family Court.” This program took place at the Columbian Lawyers’ Association of Nassau County. Both Mangi and Graham continue to serve on the Steering Committee of the Nassau County Family Law and Procedure Committee, which plans events and programs of interest to Family Law practitioners.
